Save energy, save money!

In February of 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which expands tax credits for homeowners who purchase certain energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment. These tax credits, totaling up to $1,500, are available on qualifying equipment purchased and installed between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010.

Tax breaks bring big savings on high-efficiency Lennox products

As a four-time winner of the ENERGY STAR® Manufacturing Partner of the Year award—and the first and only winner in the heating and cooling industry—Lennox offers a complete selection of high-efficiency home comfort systems that qualify for tax credits by meeting the minimum energy-efficiency ratings stipulated in the government’s economic stimulus bill.

The links below will provide you with complete details on the qualifying Lennox products available within each category of tax credits:

Tax credits equal to 30% of the installed cost—up to $1,500
Furnace Tax Credit
Air Conditioner Tax Credit
Heat Pump Tax Credit
Boiler Tax Credit
Packaged System Tax Credit

Tax credits equal to 30% of the cost—with no upper limit:
Photovoltaic Energy Installations Tax Credit  – Applies to the solar panel installation required to operate Lennox’ first-of-its-kind SunSource® Comfort System

Tax credits equal to 9% of the installed cost—up to $1,500:
Advanced Fan Furnace Tax Credit  – Available on any furnace equipped with an advanced main air circulating fan that uses no more than 2% of the furnace’s total energy

Please consult your tax expert on any tax credit to which you may be entitled.
Please note that not all ENERGY STAR products will qualify for a tax credit. For full details on tax credits available for home heating and cooling systems, visit energystar.gov.
